Proposed subdivision development in North Okanagan strikes nerve over local water supply

North Okanagan, B.C. – The fate of the local water supply topped the concerns of local residents at a public hearing last week for a proposed 16-lot development project. One couple who oppose the subdivision proposal noted the official community plan states any new development for small holdings must have a community water system and not wells.
